Pembroke runs on Town Meeting — the purest form of self-government in America, where residents, not politicians, set the budget and make the rules. Our Annual Town Meeting is held on the second Tuesday in May. The meetings below are open to the public. The single most effective thing any resident can do is walk into the room.
